About Us
Waduha Welfare Organization is a faith-driven humanitarian initiative rooted in Islamic values and human dignity. We exist to serve those who are overlooked orphans, widows, vulnerable families, and communities living without access to basic necessities.
“And He found you lost and guided you.”
Our journey is rooted in guidance, mercy, and responsibility toward humanity.
Who We Are
Waduha Welfare Organization is built on the belief that meaningful change begins with responsibility to people, to trust, and to the values that guide our actions. Rooted in Islamic principles of dignity, mercy, and accountability, Waduha was founded by Zuha Rashid at the age of 19, driven by lived experience rather than distance from hardship. What began as a personal sense of responsibility soon evolved into a structured humanitarian initiative responding not from reports, but from presence. This foundation continues to shape how Waduha works today: staying close to communities, understanding local realities, and delivering care through systems that respect human dignity and donor trust.
Over the years, Waduha has grown into a multi-program welfare organization while remaining grounded in its original perspective compassion guided by discipline, and urgency strengthened through accountability. With several years of on-ground operations, our approach balances immediate relief with long-term resilience, ensuring that every initiative is ethical, transparent, and impact-driven.
Our Faith & Values
Faith-led. Human-centered. Accountability-driven.
Our work is driven by intention to serve for the sake of Allah and the dignity of humanity. We prioritize honest action over visibility, and responsibility over recognition.
We believe serving the vulnerable requires the highest standards. From emergency response to long-term care, Waduha commits to excellence in planning, delivery, and accountability.
Every life is sacred. We respond to hardship not with distance, but with presence standing alongside orphans, widows, and communities affected by crisis, poverty, and neglect.
We work to restore balance where inequality and vulnerability exist. Our approach seeks not only relief, but fairness, protection, and opportunity especially for those often unseen.
We honour the trust placed in us by communities and donors alike. Transparency, ethical governance, and responsible stewardship guide every initiative we undertake.
Waduha’s faith-driven approach is shaped by lived experience and proximity to the communities we serve. By combining spiritual values with practical action, Waduha delivers aid that is respectful, responsive, and rooted in long-term impact ensuring that compassion is translated into systems that protect dignity and build resilience.
